Lost World of Tambun Feb 2019

Minggu lepas 9 Februari 2018 kami 1 family join dengan geng2 tempat keja ayah bergumbira di Lost World of Tambun. Ni dh kali ke 3 kot Faheem sampai sini, adik kali ke 2. Dalam sejam lbh perjalanan dari Lumut. Dulu umi dah tanya ayah dah nak x beli annual pass, ayah geleng2 je hihi.
Seronok la kat sini sebab mandi dapat, games dapat, tgk animals pun dapat. happiness for both adults and kids.

perjalanan pergi. dah siap2 pakai swimming suit so sampai2 nanti leh terus terjun masuk air. singgah toilet di petronas seri iskandar pastu hero minta sandwich. cmtu skali style dia makan^^

actually ni gambar nak balik hehe. masa sampai2 tghri buta & anak2 x sabar nk mandi dah so x sempat la nak amik gambar ke apa..

lepas dah main2 air kejap, ktorg dgn family Siti gi layan rollercoaster dulu la. relax je rollercoaster ni fahree naik cam xde perasaan je hehe

lepas dah main rollercoaster tu elok2 je timing untuk cat feeding. tapi takleh masuk sebab baju kitorg belum kering, masih lembab. so org kt dlm cat centre tu suruh jalan2 dulu gi tengok hippo

sebelum masuk area hippo, jumpe deer dulu. masa 2018 ada banyak deer kat sini tp skrg tinggal 4 ekor je. itupun dh berpindah ke ruang lain. bila tanya kt pekerja sana dia kata ada penghuni taman sebelah tu ngadu busuk!

kt area tu ada hyenas & flamingo juga. sempat tgk hyenas feeding tapi x sebest tiger feeding la sbb hyenas 2 ekor tu setakat kejar ayam je. xde panjat2 ke lompat2 mcm tiger. 

kitorg punya la menunggu train dlm 20mins camtu skali train sampai je tengok2 penuh & takde sape pun yang turun. aduhai. last2 kami berjalan kaki tanpa selipar panas2 terik tu. seksa juga la haha.

akhirnya dapat masuk juga ke cat centre sebab semua dh kering lepas berjalan kaki dari tempat hippo. jauh juga la kalau ikutkan. ayah x masuk cat centre sebab dia kan fobia kucing. tengok dari luar tu memang gerammmm je sebab mok2 sangat kucing2 kat dalam tu..

amacam? ada iras kan. muka kecik tapi badannya mok2!

lepas tengok cat kitorang gi main carousel pastu ingat nk gi lunch sekali bebudak ni x sabar nak mandi balik. struggle la kami laki bini nak pujuk diorang ni makan huhu.

disebabkan pergi beramai-ramai ada la yang offer nak jagakan anak-anak sementara makpak gi main. selama ni pergi memang dengan anak-anak so x pernah la merasa naik rides. seronok!

alkisah fahree hilang sekejap masa ayah melayan faheem yang sibuk nak beli crepe and umi pergi locker nak amik duit. tup2 fahree missing. nasib baik ada insan baik hati nampak dia nangis-nangis pastu masa nak bawa fahree ke counter, Siti jumpa dia and bawa dia ke umi dia yang tengah duduk-duduk relax-relax sementara ayah pergi cari huhu. 

dalam pukul 6 kitorang pun gilir-gilir la mandikan anak-anak. keluar je amik gambar sikit2 pastu azan maghrib pun berkumandang. singgah surau kt seberang jalan pastu kami pergi makan di Restauran Chinese Muslim Abdullah Meru. sedap Alhamdulillah

malam tu kami stay di Heritage Hotel, Ipoh. sambung menyelam dalam bathtub pulak heheeh. Esoknya makan roti goyang & singgah makan icrecream di Hokkaido Icecream Puff! nyum2

trip kali ni memang best laaaaaa.

pergi tempat yang sama je tapi bila berlainan timing, berlainan ahli, berlainan event, trip tu jadi berbeza and kepuasan pun berbeza. syukur diberi peluang untuk semuanya, Alhamdulillah.

Picnic di Marina Island

Blog ni dah macam tempat throwback pula hehe. Seronok dapat menulis tapi nak start menulis tu selalunya payah sikit. lagi-lagi bila nak menulis tu taknak ada gangguan la, nak tenang la bla bla bla. Alasan je hehe. 

So kita throwback masa umur Fahree dalam setahun+ camtu. Itula menyesal tak tulis blog betul-betul kalau x dah boleh tahu tarikh picnic.. disebabkan gambar ditransfer ke laptop pastu transfer lagi ke laptop baru so tarikh gambil diambil pun dah hilang. tapi seingatnya masa pertengahan tahun 2017. saje la boring-boring kami berempat sempit-sempit naik motor ke Marina Island. Nama je island tapi xyah naik boat pun, ada bridge. Marina Island ni pulau buatan, sampai sekarang pun sebenarnya tak ada apa-apa sangat. kedai-kedai lot pun banyak kosong. X hidup sangat la. Tapi boleh la kalau setakat nak picnic gitu-gitu. layan je :)

Blaming game

When you work in Klinik Kesihatan you meet different kinds of people every day. Most of the time you can appreciate the different view from other people, but sometimes you will just open your mouth in disbelief and close it because you lost word to comment anything.

Last week I had an U5M (Under 5 Mortality). A 9 months old boy with no comorbid was the victim. On the first day when the news was out, people blamed the babysitter. The next thing you know, just the next day, people blamed the parents.

Who to blame and why the blaming game? Initially, when the news said the baby had bleeding in the brain, possibly due to 'Shaken Baby Syndrome', of course, people will accuse the babysitter because the baby was under her care during the incident. The next day after the postmortem, it was said that there was bleeding but was not due to abuse. No evidence of physical abuse was found. Also in the news was mentioned that the child had fever for 3 days prior to the incident. Just after the news was out, people changed their mind, the parents were the suspects then.

I had the chance of meeting the parents a few days after the incident. The baby previously was under the care of our clinic and I was supposed to make the report for this case. The parents looked strong and gave full cooperation. They wanted justice for their baby, at the same time they accepted the fate. Must be so hard for them, their first child, the only child :(

I didn't manage to meet the babysitter yet. The nurses and I did plan to meet her but she went back to her hometown. The pressure of people accusing her to cause the death of the baby may cause her to be stressful and down. So for now. we didn't get the other side of the story from her.

Thing is for a high profile case like this, people nowadays like to add spices and flavor in their comments and posts. They blame and accuse and punish like they are God. Everyone has their own opinion but if you don't know the whole story, wouldn't it better if you just keep whatever accusation you have in your own head?

Winter memories in Ukraine

Pictures were taken during my 1st and 2nd year of medical school. After 3rd-year snow became less fun so not much pictures were taken haha. Now I really miss the pretty snow :( not missing the freezing cold weather though! 

Where can I find a Muslim female O&G specialist in Manjung?

Today a friend of mine came to the clinic, wanted a second opinion regarding her pregnancy. She is currently at 38weeks pregnancy. I did a scan for her when she was 36weeks, the baby had a transverse lie so I immediately referred her to the hospital. Apparently, she asked for an AOR discharge despite the counseling given for her unstable lie. She was keen to deliver in a private hospital. 

Well, today she came to me saying that 2 days back, she had a follow up in a private hospital. She was told that her baby weighing 2.8kg and her AFI (amniotic fluid index) is high - 21. She was told to come back for a repeat scan on the 31st of Jan. The thing is, she said every appointment will cost her ~RM270! Quite a lot for a chit chat and scan she claimed. Previously at another private hospital, they charged her around RM100+/appointment, never reaching RM200. So she asked me very nicely whether I could her help to scan and to double check her AFI.

Turned out that her AFI was normal, only 14.8. I scanned twice for confirmation and the result was about the same. Even during her 36weeks scan, her AFI was about that range, far from number 20. I counseled her and gave some suggestions since she looked worried and frustrated. Of course, the AFI level may increase and decrease throughout the pregnancy but for now, the AFI is normal. Even the presentation was cephalic and she had no labor symptom so she shouldn't worry much. 

She asked me whether she should still go and repeat her scan in the private hospital (and pay RM270)? I answered her with honesty but let just keep it as a secret ;) 

She delivered her 4 children previously by a female Muslim doctor in a private hospital. For her 5th pregnancy, she is very keen to do the same. Unfortunately, in Manjung, most of the O&G specialists are male and non-Muslim. The nearest you can go is Ipoh or Taiping. 

To conclude all that, we really need a female Muslim 0&G specialist in Manjung! You can really make money here you know!
